So it is spring already or is this what everyone was talking about when they said 'global warming'?
That is a serious question floating around, especially here in the Midwest. We have had 70 and sunny, 65 and windy, 46 and rainy and then 34 and snowy. I seriously was walking to work today and thought in my head... "April showers bring may flowers??"
Haha I mean I would be totally okay with it being April and the sun shining and flowers blooming, but then that would mean that I have like ZERO time left to finish all of my papers and study for exams and then I'm like "yeaaaa, I'll take this incredible spring weather in February and just wait for April to come around like normal."
One thing that is challenging when you have severe weather shifts like we do here in Illinois is dressing and planning for the weather. You see a little bit of sun and you think you're in the clear to put your boots away for the year but then you get to work and realize that was a terrible mistake.
It is all about the layering. That, and if you go with a short sleeve top then wear pants to counteract it. The absolute best way to still get some #spring in your step and your wardrobe while dressing for the weather is accessorizing with new SPRING COLORS!
For me, if I can add some yellow, pale pink, or mint to my clothes then I already feel a little springier. (Not sure that is a word, but don't act like you've never used it before either). That is why I have found the Jord Wood Watches to be the absolute perfect spring accessory for any outfit.

OH & another absolute fave of mine right now that I am sporting, is the ruffled off the shoulder body suit from 6th and Vine. It is going to probably be my favorite spring/summer piece so be prepared to see this on repeat in the coming months. That is all.
