Suede, Studs, Style

You guys......

This past weekend was so wonderful! It was Homecoming at my Alma Mater and I went back and visited my sorority sisters and made sure to take lots and lots and lots of pictures. I have found now, that as I leave different parts of my life, pictures are becoming increasingly important. They let me reminisce on memories that I treasure dearly.

I know that some people aren't into taking photos or don't find the purpose because they say they want to live in the moment and I get that, I do. But, for me, looking back at pictures takes me to that time in my life when I was indescribably happy and I can laugh all over again and the joys that I was feeling in those pictures. I know that my memories are always with me, but there is something special about looking at a photo and getting to relive that moment all over again.

I guess the moral of my rant would be, to try taking some pictures maybe even just to humor the person you are with who does love taking pictures. A picture can become so meaningful to some people so you may not realize the impact you are making on them by just taking a few photos. And those that do love them... appreciate why others like to take in the moment and only limit yourself to a couple good ones?

Sounds like a good compromise to me (;

Of course, I had to take a little break in the middle of the photo session to take a few of myself for the blog because this outfit was really working for me that day. I tried on a gazillion different options and wasn't satisfied, but as soon as I put this on I knew it was the perfect outfit for the night! I am happy for this mild weather because tights are my FAVORITE and I will be wearing them all of the time now!

What I was extremely obsessed with is this skirt from American Eagle Outfitters. I am all about the details right now and this skirt and outfit in general, has them!

The suede, the studs, the zip of the front (SWOONING). I'm not kidding when I say, I have already worn it three timesand I fall in love with it again and again. Another amazing thing.... it's only $33.71 right now! (online).

The BELLINA ELBOW PATCH PULLOVER SWEATER, from Francesca's, has the cutest arm patches on the elbow. It is so comfortable and looks amazing paired with skirts, pants, and dresses! It's $44.00.

I keep telling myself I am not going to spend money, but I couldn't help but splurge on my black bracelets from Apricot Lane. They were 3 for $20 or 1 for $8, and they have lots of different color shades to choose from like blues and creams and greens! Black just made the most sense for me, because I thought they looked very timeless and classic.

These are similar, OMI BRACELET METALLIC PYRITE, but the beads and color combinations vary.

I also loved adding my Lariat Choker Necklace from Gliks to spice up the outfit. I mean who doesn't love chokers right now? And who doesn't love them when they are only $10

Don't be surprised if you see me out and about in this same exact outfit in the future.

I will most definitely be an outfit repeater, but that might make you an outfitter rememberer, which is wayyyyy worse! (;

Lizzie McGuire anyone?? Ehh?

If you didn't get the reference you need to prioritize your life and catch up on some classic TV shows.

Have a great week everybody!!! <3
