Want to know something funny? It started raining right as we got to our location to shoot these photos and I was like NOPE no way rain.... Not today. So, we just took all of these photos in the rain and I kept getting smacked in the face with water but luckily you can't tell... At least I don't think you can? 🤷🏼♀️😂
On another note, who here likes to find newboutiques to shop so that you are always finding fun and unique pieces of clothing that aren't the same old same old? 🙋🏼
I do, that's for sure! Today, I am here to share with you a new boutique that I found and quickly fell in love with. If you haven't guess it yet, they are called The Mint Julep Boutique (;
I love this boutique for many reasons! One of those is because they have super unique things you can do, like monograming their clothing, shoes, and accessories! #socool You just click on their monogram tab and add your monogram to the item you like. I thought this was awesome, but maybe that's just me (;
The Mint Julep Boutique also has a tab called, LIOLI (love it or leave it).
This is an easy and fun way to vote on items you love and items that you would leave behind. I think this is a cool way for them to gage the intertest of their market, so you know that they are always trying to please the shopper. I don't know if there is anything more a shopper could ask for!!
This boutique wanted to be different. To provide a fun and pleasing atmosphere for their shoppers and they did! Plus, I am a sucker for a website that can take really great pictures of their clothes. I want to truly know what they look like on a person so I can try and gage how it will look like on me.
I don't know why, but some websites I just can't even look at because they don't make their clothes look appealing (I know I am not alone is this) and The Mint Julep Boutique does a great job at making me want their clothes.
So great, that I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to order from there!
I am wearing the Posh Petals Wrap Dress in Cream. For sizing references I am in a size small and it fits like a glove 👍 So, definitely TTS.
I am not kidding when I say this, but I will be wearing this dress as many times as I can before it gets weird and people think I don't own anything else. It is SO c o m f o r t a b l e!!!! The material is very stretchy and generous, which I love. It reminds me of the t-shirt dresses from American Eagle or Piko's. I love material like this because it is flowly, breathable and doesn't make me feel like I have to constantly be sucking in (who likes to feel uncomfortable when they are trying to dress up and feel pretty????)
But for real, this dress is a total #score because I can wear it out for a date night because of the beautiful flower design or work because of the long cut. I dressed mine up here with heels and a light pink cross body but I think some trendy sandals and a braided hairstyle would make it more causal. The material gives it the option to do both.
